Cultural Emergency Response

“For many, this was the first time they received such support. Some did not even believe until the last moment that anything would actually arrive. Seeing the joy and gratitude of employees is incredibly inspiring. The equipment received is already transforming the work of cultural institutions:
• improving storage conditions for exhibits (dehumidifiers, recirculators);
• digitizing collections to preserve heritage;
• enabling work during blackouts;
• ensuring the accessibility of museums for visitors even in the most challenging conditions,”
— says Kira Harmashova, project procurement manager.
Each institution received equipment tailored to their specific requests. This allowed effective support for their operations and the creation of proper conditions for preserving unique collections.
We acknowledge the support of Cultural Emergency Response (CER) for making this initiative possible.
