2022 Performance Report
In the past 10 months of war, we have made significant progress in our mission, although due to safety concerns, we must exercise caution in disclosing detailed information about our activities. We owe our success to the support of international organizations, to whom we provide regular reports. Our efforts extend beyond financial assistance; we also strive to build trust within the Ukrainian cultural community.
Throughout our work, we have collaborated closely with dedicated teams from 49 museums, libraries, and archives across various regions of Ukraine. Together, we have overcome numerous challenges, ensuring the preservation of their collections.
Just before the New Year, we secured 30 powerful EcoFlows for the country's largest museums, thanks to the support of the ALIPH fund. Additionally, we have established strategies with various foundations to ensure sustainability and protection during blackouts.
Highlights of our achievements:
International donors have generously contributed a total of 1,184,000 euros to support Ukrainian institutions in preserving their heritage.
We have provided valuable guidance to numerous institutions on establishing their own charitable foundations and public organizations. Moreover, we have assisted them in applying for grant funding and preparing comprehensive reports.
Our partnerships with esteemed international organizations such as UNESCO, ALIPH fund, Cultural Emergency Fund, and House of Europe have strengthened our commitment to preserving Ukraine's cultural heritage. We are grateful for the pro bono advice received from Hogan Lovells, a global law firm.
We express our gratitude to the exceptional individuals and organizations who have tirelessly worked to safeguard collections since February 24. Special recognition goes to the Museum Crisis Center, @HERI, Museum of Contemporary Art NGO, Leonid Marushchak, National Research and Restoration Center of Ukraine, and countless others who continue to inspire us with their dedication.
